After completing all your training, home studies, home security check, and background exam, you`re usually ready to get your license. The administrator assigned to you will write a report in which you will be recommended to your agency as adoptive parents. Once the agency – or the local government – has received and verified your report, you will get your license if you are approved. Some states call this license “certification” or “authorization,” but in general, it means you can now care for children in your home. Your first option is to check with local adoption accommodations near you. You will notice that, in most cases, older cats are dropped off here. However, in the spring, there is what is called “kitten season.” Shelters all over the country experience an influx of kittens, because then cats breed and give birth. Saving Hope appreciates the willingness to donate to the dog`s general expenses such as treats, toys, etc., and Saving Hope offers donated items, if any, for care homes (such general expenses, when paid for by a care home and not by Saving Hope, may be tax deductible.) The boxes can be loaned to nursing homes and returned to Saving Hope when an adoptive dog is adopted.
